Have you been discharged with a vacuum bottle in place? This film will demonstrate the steps required in how to manage this at home.

For this procedure you require:

• Someone who has been taught to perform this procedure
• Alcohol wipe 
• Vacuum drainage bottle
• Dressing pack, including sterile towel, gauze and gallipot
• Small waste bag.
